Do you use lotion?
Do you cook or bake?
Do you cloth diaper?
Did you know you can use coconut oil for all of those?
I'm serious!
I love coconut oil for all of the above. Sometimes I even put it on my hair when dry and leave it all day as a deep conditioner. Then wash as usual. It feels amazing.
Lotion. Yes, I have replaced our daily lotion routine with coconut oil. It does not leave you feeling greasy like I thought it would. Its actually quite nice.
I made oatmeal cookies for my three year old to take for snack last week. The teacher said they were really tasty but there was something different about them compared to other oatmeal cookies she has tasted. I asked what she meant and all the she could say was there was something just a bit different and they were really moist . I told them my secret, I replaced the butter with coconut oil.
We cloth diaper. If you do you know, you can't use just any diaper cream with cloth diapers. What you can use is coconut oil! It works great all over baby and is cloth diaper safe.

DeleteHi Jana,
ReplyDeleteI finally sat down and caught up on some of your posts. I love your sence of humor! I recently became a huge fan of coconut oil as well. Ironicly, from this same company as well. I took advantage of the discount pricing and free shipping. They have great weekly deals and I love their story. I use it in place of butter when cooking lots of things and it is a high heat oil which is great for stir fry, great on toast, all over my skin. There are tons of uses for it and it smells great.
